About This Padlock
The 24 series Diskus padlock is a fully marine grade padlock made entirely from stainless steel and other anti-corrosive parts. It won the Practical Boat Owner magazine padlocks test against many other larger and more expensive locks. An additional feature which makes this a superior option to many other disc padlocks is the reinforced plate within the body, preventing the lock body from being cut or force attacked.
Although disc padlocks are a great security option for any situation we recommend that this product is used with our hasp and staple for maximum security. This covers the shackle completely and makes bolt cutter and saw attacks much more difficult. Remember that all discus padlocks are deisgned to be 'key-retaining' for security reasons and therefore will only release the key once the padlock is re-locked again.
All our padlocks are delivered with 2 keys each inclusive of the price.
Important notes
- Each padlock comes with 2 keys but you do need to order your individual "master keys" separately. We recommend only 1 or 2 to begin with.
Sizes
This range is available in 50mm, 60mm and 70mm body widths. Please check the dimensions carefully prior to ordering as the design of these padlcoks is to ensure a tight, compact fit so the clearances may surprise you.

Technology
The precision 5 pin tumbler with self-locking mechanism makes the brass padlock highly secure against picking, while the hardened steel shackle and double bolted case help protect the lock from force attacks.
