About this product
The CP range by Squire has been around for a while and proved very popular. It however did suffer when grit got into the numbers or mechanism. As such they've developed this "All Terrain" model. It is effectively the same padlock but has a sliding key guard and bumpers. The best thing is to watch the video on this page to appreciate all the additional features.
Combination & Setting
Needless to say this combination can be set to your own code and has 4 numbers so that's 10,000 possible combinations.
Weather Resistance
This model is marine grade. That means it not only is ok for general outdoor use but it has a stainless steel shackle and so suitable for a salt water environment also. Squire says they salt spray tested it for over 300 hours which should simulate about 5 years in real world conditions. Personally we like simple locks when it comes to marine environments as there is less to go wrong and this is not a simple lock. But all that said, the CP range is reliable and this is an advancement on that range so we're confident it will perform.
