These laminated padlocks are probably our best general purpose padlock. They are not the highest security lock nor are not the best selling either. However, the quality, weatherproofing and price however make the ABUS laminated series simply exceptional. The ABUS types especially afford the strength of a steel lock and yet afford the weather resistance of a marine grade lock. There is nothing else on the market like it. Take a look at them being hand made in Germany while most other locks are now made in China.
