Keyed Alike
These locks are keyed alike. This means that however many you order they will come with the same key. You can also order multiple sets. So for example 8 locks where 4 opperate from one key and another 4 from another key. The number of sets is limitless.
About the lcok
These Cisa padlocks are made from solid hardened steel rather than a brass lock, enclosed in a steel case as is common with these designs. The shackle is also hardened steel. The two combined make it particularly tough against cutting and cropping attacks. The locks comes with 2 keys.
Using the lock on shipping containers
The locks are most commonly used on the lock boxes on shipping containers where you need to put the lock up inside the box and then slide the bolt across. The combination of the lock box and padlock make it almost completely impenetrable to the vast majority of thieves.
As you can see from the image, once the lock is in place then the key and the locking bolt are both accessed from below. The keyway is protected by an anti drill plate.
Key Recording
Your locks can be recorded so that you can add to your set in the future and, if you require, unique to you.
