About this hasp:
This hasp is design specifically to be used with a 60mm Round Shackless Padlock. They work so well together that when installed there is no weak link to attack. There is no shackle or moving parts to cut or bolt crop.
As a result they are hugely poplualr for rear van doors when secure expensive tools and equipment with the added benefit that it wont rattle around and bash you paintwork! The only downside is that the lock is not integrated into the hasp so you do need to remember to put it back on before you drive away!
Using this system on sheds, warehouse doors and shipping containers is also exceptional. Strangely, since it has no shackle it does no qualify for testing under the Insurance CEN regulations but for the sake of insurance it is a high security lock and it is regarded as closed shackle even though it is in fact better than most closed shackle designs.
