Your gym may suggest a 30mm or 40mm padlock and these measurements refer to the body size of the padlock. As this determines the thickness of the shackle (loop) of the padlock, this will be guided by the size of the fittings on the locker. Often you are looking to simply lock away your personal items whilst you use the gym and need a standard level security padlock.
If your gym has suggested a 30mm padlock then the Shield 155/30b is ideal and won’t break the budget. It comes with three dials which you can set to your own code, making it easier to remember. If you wish to have something a little larger with four dials then you may find the Shield 155/40b fits, just check the measurements of the locker fitting first.
